09:50-10:30Therapeutic Approach to Face and Body Contouring :
ultrasound, medications, cryolipolysis, etc.
Therapeutic approach to face and body contouring (Ultrasound, medication, cryolipolysis, etc.) Face and body contouring remains as one of the most common cosmetic surgical procedures performed throughout the world. This heightened demand and interest in face and body contouring has prompted the search for novel therapeutic targets and modalities with minimal risk and recovery time. Nowadays, there is a plethora of new devices and techniques such as High intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), Radiofrequency (RF) and Deoxycholic acid injection. Among these various treatment options, the selection of an optimal modality combined with an individualized design for each patient is crucial in achieving an ideal result with minimal risk and side effects. Each modality has a distinct mechanism as well as the effects and side effects depending on the different anatomic target and a thorough understanding of each modality will allow a physician to be fully equipped with a perfect weapon when treating a patient with face and body contour concerns.

10:40-11:20Cosmeceuticals for Aged Skin
As the Skin Ages, it shows signs of aging including reductions in resilience and moisture content in the stratum corneum. The latter leads to non-uniform electric charge distribution in the layer, which in turn even worsens keratinizaton and causes pruritus in wide areas. Developing cosmetic products effective for dry skin and other aging-related signs will help keep a healthy, beautiful skin for longer.

11:30-12:10Inflammatory skin diseases in Aged Skin
Elderly patients are more likely than the general population to have significant cutaneous diseases due to structural changes, alteration of immunologic response, and different environmental influences. This presentation focuses on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and management of the common inflammatory dermatoses likely to be encountered in the geriatric population.

11:10-11:50Energy-based Devices for the Treatment of Aged Skin : pigmentation
There are various types of pigmented lesions developed in the skin and therefore, the treatment method is quite complex. It is important to confirm it with differential diagnosis before initiating the treatment as it is complexly corelated to each other. In addition, presence of comorbidity as well as any drugs being administered in a long-term period should be checked in advance. There are various treatment options with laser to be used based on diagnosis, such as Q switched laser, long pulsed laser, fractional laser, radiofrequency, IPL, and picoseconds laser. Appropriate combination of these devices per skin type of each patent can maximize outcome of pigmented lesion treatment while minimizing possible side effects.
